Plans and availability
Starter, Growth and Practice are plans within one Consultant product. Availability is shown independently because a published price does not by itself open checkout. Built for MSPs, IT consultancies, independent consultants and Cyber Advisors supporting client organisations.
Give each client its own local workspace rather than mixing answers, evidence context and actions.
Follow the same preparation structure across licensed client engagements.
Keep supporting context, notes and actions beside the relevant client preparation.
Keep local preparation material and supported outputs together for later review.

Active client engagement
A licence concept for client work using the Consultant Builder or RightCyber-derived workflow and outputs during the subscription period. Archiving does not delete or lock local files and must not be used to bypass the allowance.
Activated computer
A computer currently activated against the plan. Included computers do not automatically create multiple user accounts or permission to share sign-in credentials.
Starting next year’s assessment keeps the finished year inside the same client folder as a closed record, and opens the new year with the organisation details, owners and certificates already recorded. A closed year is read-only, reached through a year picker, and exports and reports come from the current year.
The Consultant client list shows how many previous assessment years each client has kept, and the exported quick report records it.
On a renewal, a question that was renumbered, reworded, changed in requirement or added carries one line saying what changed, above the guidance shown with that question. The line retires itself once the question set moves on.
Renewal Import reads the IASME portal’s own answer export or assessment report, and works out which question set the document came from, refusing one it cannot identify rather than guessing. Last year’s answers can also be pasted in. Either way every row is confirmed individually, and a question already answered this year is never overwritten.
The eleven list questions, from networks and network equipment to laptops, servers, tablets and cloud services, are answered as rows with columns instead of prose.
A checklist built from the client’s own answers of what a Plus assessor will test, with IASME’s published sample-size table, the 90 days the client has after the Cyber Essentials certificate to complete Plus, and the 30 days after the test to fix anything found. Preparation only: the test itself is carried out by a certification body’s assessor.
Each record notes the question set its answers were given against. A record from a different set is refused rather than silently rewritten.
Official Cyber Essentials registration, assessment and certification fees are not included in these prices.
Real product proof

Real Consultant Starter capture · fictional client data. It shows the entry points for files, notes and actions; it does not claim that any particular supporting material has been checked.
Verified scope. There is no current open client-switcher, archive or output screenshot approved for this page. Stale demo captures are not reused as Consultant proof.
The workflow describes verified preparation behaviour. Archiving is not presented as a way to extend or bypass the licensed active-client allowance.
01
Register a client engagement and create its own local workspace.
02
Use the selected-client control to move between workspaces without combining their preparation records.
03
Keep questions, responses and supporting context together for that client.
04
Keep outstanding preparation work visible instead of hiding it in a separate tracker.
05
Create the preparation outputs on your own computer and keep the files under your control.
06
Use the same structure for the next licensed active client engagement.
Client information and responsibility
Consultant is local-first, not a claim that every piece of product information stays on one computer. The boundary is simpler when the two sides are stated separately.
The normal product flow does not upload client answers, evidence, gaps, outputs or backups to RightCyber.
Client permission and protection remain your responsibility
The exact plan must be published and pass its payment and desktop-delivery checks before checkout opens.
The checkout email receives the RightCyber account sign-in path after payment is confirmed.
Use the account area to download the applicable desktop installer and activate a computer within the plan allowance.
Register the client workspace, then keep the engagement material in the local Builder.
Checkout only opens when the exact plan’s desktop delivery is ready. The Builder runs on macOS 12 Monterey or later and 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
The signed-in account area provides device deactivation before a replacement computer is activated within the allowance.
Active access covers the supported Builder release, licence activation and updates RightCyber releases after verification.
Renewal Import brings last year’s answers into a client workspace from the IASME portal’s own answer export or assessment report, or from a paste, one confirmed row at a time. It is not a general importer for other tools’ files.
Consultant helps you organise preparation work across licensed client engagements. RightCyber does not submit applications, assess clients, award certification or guarantee an outcome. Cyber Essentials Plus technical testing is outside this product.
The official process stays separate
Use Gap Analysis when the immediate need is to identify where attention is required before organising a wider preparation programme.
Browse Documents for client-specific working material. The current catalogue licence is not a general consultant reuse or redistribution licence, so review the applicable terms before purchase.
Consultant FAQ
It is a client engagement for which you use the Consultant Builder or RightCyber-derived workflow and outputs during the subscription period. The licence allowance is not permission to open extra active workspaces and rotate labels to avoid the stated limit.
Do not rely on archiving as a polished capacity-management workflow. Archiving releases hosted licence metadata but does not delete or lock the local workspace. Reuse must remain within the active-client licence allowance.
No separate unlimited archived-client entitlement is published. Archived local files remain your responsibility, and archiving must not be used to work around the active-client allowance.
An activated device is one computer currently activated to use the Consultant Builder under the account. Device allowance is not the same as a user or consultant allowance.
Consultant Starter provides a signed-in device control for deactivating the current computer before activating a replacement. Deactivation changes licence access; it does not remotely delete local work.
Multiple activated computers do not automatically create named team seats or permission to share account credentials. No public multi-user team entitlement is published, so ask RightCyber before buying for several staff members.
Client answers, evidence, notes, gaps, actions, local outputs and backups remain on the consultant’s computer or in customer-controlled folders. RightCyber holds account, billing, licence, device and limited client-registry metadata needed to operate access and allowances.
Every Consultant plan can put your practice name and an accent colour on the documents the Builder produces for buyers and procurement questions. Hiding the “prepared with RightCyber” attribution line is a Growth and Practice control. Whether or not that line is hidden, every document still states that it is not produced by a certification body and is not an assessment outcome, and still points the reader at the official certificate register, so branding never presents a RightCyber output as an assessment result. Bespoke document design is not included.
A self-service mid-year plan-change journey is not currently promised. Contact RightCyber with the account email and the capacity you need before assuming an upgrade or downgrade is available.
No. Consultant is independent preparation software. RightCyber does not assess, submit or certify clients, guarantee a result or provide Cyber Essentials Plus technical testing through this product.
