Refunds

Refunds and access.

Certification Workspace plans are annual subscriptions; document packs are one-time purchases delivered immediately. Access follows the email used at Stripe checkout.

01

After purchase

Stripe redirects you back to RightCyber after checkout. The initial paid-invoice webhook activates access and RightCyber automatically sends a secure one-time sign-in email to the checkout address. Stripe sends the receipt and VAT invoice separately.

Webhook delivery normally completes within seconds but can take a little longer. The desktop Builder is downloaded from the signed-in hub; it is not attached to either email.

02

What annual access covers

Certification Workspace plans are tax-inclusive annual subscriptions: In-house at £149 for the first year then £50/year for one organisation, and the Consultant Starter (£599/year), Growth (£1,199/year) and Practice (£2,499/year) plans with the active-client and activated-computer allowances stated on the Terms page. While access is active, the signed-in hub provides the current supported installer for the purchased plan and billing controls, and Consultant desktop installations can activate, refresh their licence, and register clients within the allowance.

03

Refund handling for subscriptions

RightCyber does not offer a discretionary refund window for subscription plans. Your statutory rights are unaffected, and Stripe Managed Payments, as Merchant of Record, may also issue refunds under its own buyer policies. Cancellation through the billing portal keeps access until the end of the paid period rather than refunding it.

To request a refund, contact info@rightcyber.co.uk with the checkout email and order reference shown on the Stripe receipt. Stripe returns an approved refund to the original payment method. An accidental duplicate charge for the same purchase is always refunded — include both Stripe receipts.

A full refund of the charge currently granting access marks that access as refunded, clears active web sessions where possible, and removes the paid access granted by that charge. You can still sign in to your RightCyber account; other valid purchases are not removed by that refund. A partial refund does not automatically change access and requires manual review.

04

Documents and other one-time digital purchases

Paid RightCyber document packs and any other one-time digital purchase are made from a RightCyber account and delivered immediately. At checkout you give express consent to immediate access and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right to cancel once the purchase is available to download. Because access is immediate, RightCyber does not offer a discretionary refund after the purchase is available on your account, whether or not you have downloaded a file.

Your statutory rights are unaffected: if a document is faulty, not as described or not delivered, email info@rightcyber.co.uk with the account email and the Stripe receipt reference and support replies within two business days. An accidental duplicate purchase of the same pack is always refunded — include both Stripe receipts. Stripe, as merchant of record, may also issue a refund within 60 days of the purchase in some cases under its own policies; an approved refund returns to the original payment method and removes the pack from the account. The licence terms are on the Documents Licence page.

05

Merchant of Record

Stripe Managed Payments acts as Merchant of Record for checkout, applicable tax, invoices, receipts, and refunds. RightCyber controls the product-access record that decides whether a checkout email can sign in and activate the Builder.

06

Cancellation and access end

Renewal, payment method, invoices, and cancellation are managed in the Stripe billing portal linked from the signed-in hub. A cancellation scheduled for the end of the paid period leaves access active until that date and stops the next renewal. Local Builder folders remain on the computer, but future sign-in, download, activation, licence refresh, and client registration depend on active access and the documented grace period.

07

Access problems or the wrong email

If you paid but cannot sign in, email info@rightcyber.co.uk with the checkout email and order reference. If checkout used the wrong address, include that address and the preferred access email so support can verify the safest correction. Do not keep retrying if the page reports a configuration error.

08

Customer evidence

Your local Builder workspace remains yours. Local workspace data, copied evidence files, pasted screenshots, exported Evidence Pack ZIPs, and Workspace Backup ZIPs stay on your device. Do not send full evidence packs, raw screenshots with secrets, passwords, keys, or customer/client data to support; use redacted screenshots and safe descriptions when access or refund context is needed.
