Active at the same time, not clients per year
Archive a finished engagement to keep its local records and release the active slot once the change syncs online. Reopening requires a free slot and an online licence check.
Computers have separate local files
The device allowance does not provide named-user seats or cloud collaboration. Client work does not automatically sync between them. Use backup and restore when moving work.
Consultant plans renew automatically each year. Cancel in your account’s billing portal before renewal to stop the next charge. Access continues until the paid period ends. Assessment fees are separate.

Import supported IASME Answer Export or assessment-report PDFs locally, then review and confirm selected answers. Willow-to-Danzell change notes and an in-app Renewal Delta Report focus your review.
Questions, evidence and practical checks
Keep answers, files, notes and actions together. Conditional questions, selected high-risk answer flags and missing-file checks help identify unfinished work before export.

Is the official Cyber Essentials assessment included?
No. RightCyber is independent preparation software. Registration, assessment fees, submission and the certification decision remain separate, through your chosen certification body. No plan guarantees a pass or assessor acceptance.
How does the free In-house year work?
A payment card is taken at checkout and nothing is charged during the first year. The first £50 renewal is charged when it ends unless you cancel beforehand. Open Manage billing from your RightCyber account to cancel; cancellation stops the next charge. After the free year, renewal is £50/year until cancelled.
What counts as an active client engagement?
A client you are currently preparing with the Consultant Workspace. The allowance is simultaneous active engagements, not the total clients served in a year. Archive a finished engagement to keep its local records and release the hosted slot once the change syncs online. Reopening requires a free slot and an online licence check.
What does an activated computer mean?
One computer authorised to use the Consultant Workspace. It is a device allowance, not a named-user seat or permission to share account credentials. Client work does not automatically sync between computers. Use a backup and restore to move work, and release the old device slot from your account when replacing it.
How do Consultant renewals and cancellation work?
Consultant plans are billed annually and renew automatically unless cancelled in your account’s billing portal before renewal. Cancellation stops the next charge; access continues until the end of the paid period. The Terms and Refunds Policy explain the full conditions.
What happens to local work when access ends?
Existing local work remains readable, editable and exportable. Active access is required for installer downloads, released updates and support. Consultant activation, licence refresh and new-client registration also depend on active access. RightCyber cannot recover local files from the website, so keep your own recovery backups.
Can I change plans during the year?
A self-service mid-year upgrade or downgrade is not currently promised. Contact RightCyber before assuming a plan change is available. Choose based on your concurrent active engagements and the computers you need to activate.
How are updates and support delivered?
An active subscription includes supported installer access, updates released during that period and email support for the product. A question-set update arrives inside a new build. Keep a backup before updating and review previous answers against the applicable requirements. Support does not include preparing your assessment or carrying out remediation for you.
