The official process is separate
RightCyber does not award Cyber Essentials certification and does not guarantee an assessment result. Both editions help you prepare for Cyber Essentials Plus; the test itself is carried out by a certification body's assessor, who chooses the sample and decides the outcome. The official assessment is purchased and completed separately.

The preparation work in the desktop app is the same in both editions. Access, pricing, licence allowances and verified data-handling details differ; Consultant plan allowances apply only to Consultant. Read the relevant edition page before deciding, and do not assume a universal storage, account or delivery model.

Which Workspace edition should I choose?
Choose In-house when one organisation is preparing its own Cyber Essentials work. Choose Consultant when an MSP, IT consultancy or Cyber Advisor supports separate client organisations.
Are In-house and Consultant one bundled purchase?
No. They are two editions within the Cyber Essentials Workspace family, with separate audiences, pricing and availability. The preparation work in the desktop app is the same in both; Consultant adds separate client workspaces and the control for moving between them. Choose the edition page that matches your situation.
Does the Workspace replace the official assessment portal?
No. The Workspace helps organise preparation. It does not connect to the official portal or submit answers automatically. Registration, payment, submission and the certification decision remain within the official assessment process and are separate from RightCyber.
Is the official Cyber Essentials assessment fee included?
No. Workspace pricing covers the relevant RightCyber preparation edition. The official assessment is purchased separately.
Does using the Workspace guarantee certification?
No. RightCyber does not award Cyber Essentials certification and does not guarantee an assessment result. Both editions help you prepare for Cyber Essentials Plus; the test itself is carried out by a certification body’s assessor, who chooses the sample and decides the outcome.
Where is Workspace information stored?
The Consultant edition keeps client work in separate local workspaces, while RightCyber holds the limited account, licence, device and client-registry details needed to provide access and enforce allowances. Check the relevant edition page for its verified data and delivery boundaries rather than assuming one universal model.
