Chrome extensions

Chrome extension development for your business.

We build browser extensions for focused business tasks: capture selected information, open a useful sidebar or connect an approved website to your internal software. Keep the action close to the page where your team is already working.

Is this what you need? For a repeated browser task that would be easier with a small action or sidebar on the page your team already uses.

What you can commission

What we build

A focused action, popup or sidebar

An extension can add a small interface to Chrome: a quick action, a popup with a form or a sidebar for a longer task. We choose the smallest interface that supports the work and explain what happens when the source page changes.

Connect approved information to your systems

A possible extension could send selected page details to a CRM, prepare a structured note or open the matching record in an internal tool. We agree which information can be read, what the user confirms and which service receives it.

Permissions, installation and updates

The build includes a clear permissions model, a tested installation route and an update plan. Secrets belong in the backend rather than in distributed extension code. Chrome Web Store publication or managed internal installation is agreed for the project.

Capture selected details into a CRM

A user reviews selected information from an approved page and confirms what to send to a connected CRM. Fields, permissions and duplicate handling are agreed first.

An internal tool beside the current page

A sidebar can show a checklist, prepare a note or open a matching business record. This is a proposed use, separate from the implemented Prompt Shield extension.

From a business task to working software

How we build it

  1. 1. Define the job

Observe the repeated browser task and agree the permitted sites, data and actions. Choose a popup, action or sidebar to match the task.

  2. 2. Build and review

Build the extension and any backend connection. Make permissions, user confirmation and failure messages clear.

  3. 3. Test and hand over

Test on the agreed sites and Chrome versions, then prepare managed installation or a Chrome Web Store submission and an update plan.

Questions about Chrome extensions

Have you built a working Chrome extension?

Yes. Prompt Shield by RightCyber is an implemented Manifest V3 extension in private beta. It provides a popup, a larger composer and local pattern scanning with user-controlled replacement and copying. It is not presented as a published Chrome Web Store listing.

Can an extension connect to HubSpot or our internal software?

It can, where the connected platform permits the required API access. We define the approved sites, data fields, account authorisation and user confirmation. Credentials that must remain secret belong in a backend rather than the installed extension.

How do you decide which browser permissions it needs?

We map each requested feature to its required permissions and explain what the extension can read or change. We also agree managed installation or a store submission, updates and maintenance when a supported website changes.

What we agree before starting

We agree the websites and information the extension can access, the connected accounts, supported Chrome versions and installation route. Store review and third-party site changes can affect release and maintenance.
